Brož & Sokol & Novák law firm was founded in 1992 as Brož & Sokol law firm. Its founding
members, JUDr. Jan Brož and JUDr. Tomáš Sokol opened this joint firm after a long-standing independent legal practice. In 1999, JUDr.Jiří Novák became the third partner and the law firm was renamed to its current moniker.
Their attorneys provide legal services in all general areas of law, mainly in their highly
respected civil and criminal litigation practice. They also provide legal advice in all kinds of
transactions (real property, shares, receivables, etc.). Their practice includes family-related matters, labor law, bankruptcy (insolvency), construction law and representation in matters of administrative proceedings in general. Some of their attorneys have a special focus on issues of electronic law - computer law (IT law). Brož & Sokol & Novák also provide legal services in the area of privacy protection, including claims arising from its restrictions and defending against claims and the related issues under press law and freedom of speech.
The firm has offices in Prague and in Přerov, with more than 50 staff governed by five partners. The main office languages are Czech, English, French, German and Slovakian.
